Adrienne Arsht Center For the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County

The Adrienne Arsht Center is located in Miami, Florida and was designed as a complex of single purpose state-of-the-art performance halls.

The center’s two main performance halls consist of a 2,200 seat Knight Concert Hall and a 2,400 seat Sanford and Dolores Ziff Ballet Opera House.

Our services consisted of designing and reviewing multiple theatrical rigging equipment and lighting support systems for both the concert hall and opera house. A key feature of this project was the design of an overhead canopy system with overall dimensions of approximately 45 feet wide by 65 feet long and a total weight of approximately 115,000 pounds. Additionally, we performed construction coordination and evaluation services throughout the project.
